Testimony of
Ayala Avraham
On Saturday morning, Ayala and Ilan Avraham and their friend Shani arrived at the Nova Festival to celebrate Ilan's 57th birthday. Within minutes, the attack began. They managed to escape to Moshav Yachini but were caught in a shelter by terrorists. Ilan disappeared. Ayala and Shani managed to escape and hide in the trunk of their car and were rescued thanks to a Border Police officer and soldier who noticed what was happening and engaged in a shootout with the terrorist. Ilan was initially declared missing, but his body was later found.
