Adele Raemer
Adele, up at 6, had planned to go to the nearby field to photograph flowers. Fortunately, she felt too tired. Had she gone, she would not be alive today. At 6:30, the red alert sounded, and she joined her son who had been sleeping in the guest room (the shelter). The barrage was so heavy she was afraid to close the window. They sat on the floor and she filmed what was happening. They were told to lock the doors, so she locked the weak glass door to her house. Her shelter didn't lock. From messages, she found out that houses in her neighbourhood were on fire. Hostages were taken. They waited eleven hours until rescued by the army.
