Testimony of

Gilad Honwald

When dozens of terrorists invaded Kibbutz Alumim, Gilad, his wife, and their seven children went into their safe room. Gilad took out his weapon, and went out to fight the longest defensive battle of his life. He treated the wounded and evacuated them under fire to a hospital and to the collection points. But he feels that he did not do enough in caring for and evacuating the Thai and Nepalese workers from the kibbutz, who cried out to him for help.
