Jacqueline Gliksman
The alarm woke Jacqueline on Saturday morning, and she entered the safe room. When she heard "Allahu Akbar" cries, she turned off the light and kept quiet. The terrorists entered her house, and one of them, armed, burst into the safe room. He motioned for her to be silent and took her cell phone. From the window, terrorists signaled to her that they wanted money and left when she signaled to them that she didn't have any. When she heard the terrorists spreading something like sand near the door, she fled for her life through the window. She ran among bodies, vehicles, and burned houses and knocked on doors until she found shelter with neighbors. She stayed with them, and they left the house the next day. Four of her friends were murdered, and her house was completely destroyed.
