Rafi, who has been Kibbutz Kissufim's ambulance driver for 45 years, was on call on Saturday. At the first barrage, he entered the safe room with Susie, his wife, and waited for calls. A few minutes later, his grandson, Idan, a soldier on leave, arrived at the door wounded by two bullets fired by the terrorists disguised as soldiers. Rafi went out to get the medic's bag and was shot in the palm of his hand, which started bleeding.
